Hello, my name is Francisco Badilla. I’m a Concept Artist and 2D Illustrator based in Santiago, Chile. I’ve been working in the entertainment industry for the past 12 years, creating stunning and memorable designs for games and animations.
Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated on a wide range of projects worldwide. My clients include companies such as Wizards of the Coast, BBC, Fantasy Flight Games, and Trivium Studios.
Depending on the needs of each project, I can create iconic compositions, characters, and vehicles using both realistic and stylized artistic techniques.

Illustrator for trading card game called Time Rift, based on historical figures and events.
I had the opportunity to design the robot's characters, weapons, and contribute to the environment design, sci-fi props, and video game comics.

In Kuwala I had the opportunity to participate in children's video game projects for schools and institutions, developing assets, illustrations and user interface design that was mainly integrated into educational platforms.
Lead Artist and illustrator on mobile video game NFL Clash, produced by Giant Monkey Robot (Chile) and Nifty Games . In this project, I had the opportunity to organize meetings and generate reports about the progress of the art team, assignments, task tracking, and art content development.
In 2020 I was character and scene designer and illustrator of the collectible card game based on the famous science fiction series produced by the BBC and Reality Gaming Group.

Art Director and Background Illustrator for the children's television series, Pichintun season 2 and the Magic Book developed by Buble Gummers.
Illustrator and Graphic Designer for the collectible card game, Causa, Voices of the Dusk.
In this project, I developed the visual concept for the universe. I designed the combat vehicles, the environments, and the user interface menus. this project allowed us to exhibit at international festivals and later launch the product on various platforms, such as PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
In myths and legends, I developed a series of illustrations for the collectible card game, based on national and international popular mythological culture. This helped me to generate a base of images and get to participate in similar projects.
